About the Photographer
Ryszard Zembrzuski’s deeper engagement with photography began in 2011, sparked by a pivotal photo expedition to Nepal. While music, created with electronic instruments, has been a long-standing hobby since 2001, the need for self-produced visuals for his YouTube presence prompted his venture into photography. This practical necessity quickly blossomed into a passion, leading him to embark on photo expeditions to diverse locations worldwide.
In 2016, encouraged by Dr. Krzysztof Muskalski, the organizer of PhotoArtMedica, Zembrzuski started submitting his photographs to this prestigious FIAP-recognized competition. His talent quickly gained recognition, earning him numerous medals, culminating in the highly coveted Grand Prix in 2020.
Since 2021, Zembrzuski has expanded his reach, entering several international photography competitions. To date, he has amassed an impressive collection of 71 certificates and awards. His notable achievements include the PhotoArtMedica Grand Prix in 2020, being a finalist/shortlist in the Motion Open Competition at the Sony World Photography Awards in 2024, and receiving accolades from esteemed contests such as the Fine Art Photography Awards, Chromatic Awards, ND Awards, Annual Photography Awards, Monochrome Photography Awards, Monovision Photography Awards, One Eyland, and reFocus Awards.
