About the Photographer
Jesse Kieffer is a writer and photographer based in Boston, Massachusetts. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, she received several awards for her writing and later appeared in publications such as Audubon, AMC Outdoors, Hot Metal Bridge, and Hippocampus.
She discovered photography in 2020 after acquiring her first camera, developing a focus on street photography and portraiture of the queer community. Her work has been recognized by the Lucie Foundation and LensCulture, and has been exhibited widely throughout the Boston area.
Recently, Jesse Kieffer completed a pilgrimage in Spain and Portugal, creating a body of work that captures the beauty and history of these regions. Her aim is to move people through her images and to share a glimpse of her world, even if only for a moment.
