About the Photographer
Born and raised in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, Kseniia Chumakova has been drawn to art since childhood, first through drawing and design. She studied Philology at Nizhny Novgorod State University, where she developed a deeper understanding of how meaning is constructed in artistic expression and began working with photography.
Since relocating to Belgrade in 2022, Kseniia Chumakova has focused her photographic practice on people, capturing individuality, personal stories, and the quiet beauty of everyday moments. Her work is guided by sincerity and trust, aiming not only to create aesthetically strong images but also to reflect genuine human connection. Her photographs have been exhibited internationally, including in the UK, the USA, South Korea, Australia, and Serbia.
