About the Photographer
Born and raised in the Bronx, New York City, Dan Perez is a self-taught, award-winning documentary filmmaker and photographer now based in the Fort Lauderdale area of South Florida. His photographs have been selected for several juried group exhibitions and published in New York Magazine and La Voz de Galicia.
Dan Perez is particularly drawn to travel, street, and live music photography. He works primarily with a Sony a7V and a selection of lenses, while also returning to his Pentax K-1 for shorter shoots whenever the opportunity arises.
