About the Photographer
Driven by a strong sense of curiosity and exploration, James Luo Haoyang is a 16-year-old high school student whose passion for photography is closely tied to his love of travel. Through his camera, he captures the beauty of the natural world, the dynamic movement of aircraft in flight, and the timeless elegance of European architecture, drawn to detail, structure, and atmosphere.
Aerial photography plays a central role in his practice. Viewing landscapes and buildings from above allows James Luo Haoyang to reveal forms and perspectives often hidden from ground level, uncovering a quieter sense of scale and grandeur. For him, photography is more than a hobby—it is a way to preserve fleeting moments, express his personal way of seeing, and hold onto the freedom and joy found in exploration.
