About the Photographer
Thomas Andy Branson is a tour guide, travel writer and photographer with more than a decade of experience across over one hundred countries. He has received multiple international awards in wildlife conservation and has earned recognition for his professional photographic work.
He guides throughout Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas, with a particular focus on East Africa, where he is fully qualified to lead safaris in all national parks. Branson is a member of numerous international organizations in conservation, biology, photography and travel.
Thomas Andy Branson has supported the development of The Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund in Rwanda and continues to work on long-term wildlife and landscape projects. In 2023, he began an aerial photography series on Scottish landscapes, with plans for a book and solo exhibitions. His past exhibitions include a Falkland Islands project highlighting the region’s unique wildlife and remote environments.
Branson has also twice summited Mount Kilimanjaro, reflecting his enduring connection to East Africa and its natural heritage.
